“How often can you stand at your front gate and see a herd of goats coming towards you and wake up in the morning with a couple of horses grazing outside your house – this is the only experience of a ‘traffic jam’ you will get!”

"I have never been on a holiday of this nature before and the experience of it has helped me to come away with a new perspective of changing my career path following the life coaching sessions. I have also seen the real Spain as opposed to the commercial side. Chris and Terry are great hosts who provided us with tours of the markets and villages (if required) and opportunities to understand Bach Flower and Homeopathy remedies which proved to be very informative".

“A ‘must do’ retreat for anyone looking to escape from the fast paced corporate world”!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience with the mixture of workshops and leisure time which left me feeling refreshed and centred”

"I felt really looked after by the hosts who were very flexible towards our needs and tailored the workshops to our requirements. I now have a greater understanding of Bach Flowers and Homeopathy which I will use on a personal level. The life coaching was excellent and has helped me to focus upon what I actually want for the future with the tools to achieve my goals. The wonderful view of the countryside and the mountain walks were truly spectacular as was the various wildlife"

"The Dru Yoga workshop was a first for both of us.It gave us a feeling of well being and a sense of calm and confidence. It uplifted our minds and bodies which neither of us expected so we want to continue to practise daily. We are looking forward to the next workshop."

"Back again in 2008 for our second visit, the whole family has fallen in love with Finca Colina all over again!

The setting is perfect, the accommodation is of the highest standard and Christine and Terry are warm and welcoming hosts - even going out of their way to provide us with vegan staples like soya milk in our welcome pack!

We love the location, with its possibilities as a base to explore the real Spain, and the (almost!) guaranteed sunshine and welcoming pool are a real bonus! We also all have a soft spot for the furry inhabitants, who are always ready to receive a stroke or a cuddle from the children! We know we will be back – the kids would never forgive us otherwise!"

"We arrived at Finca Colina stressed, weary and in need of some 'me' time. Our stay here was indeed a 'retreat' and the absolute silence (interrupted by the occasional far-off sound of the goats and donkeys) was idyllic, together with the fantastic views of mountains all around. Photographs and words just cannot do justice to the fantastic 'real' Spain which we experienced at Finca Colina. Christine and Terry are wonderful hosts who have provided such well-appointed en-suite bedrooms, lounge and kitchen in the converted casitas and we loved having Chilli and all the cats to welcome us daily. We returned home 'all ironed out' and already planning our return visit."

"It's hard to put into a few words what a lovely family holiday we had at Finca Colina. The scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere so peaceful. It really is the ideal retreat when you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of more conventional holidays. Chris and Terry were so welcoming and very helpful when we wanted to venture out to explore the area, by suggesting places to visit and it was lovely spending time with them just chatting. Sometimes we just wanted to read and swim, and the pool area was a treat. We loved sharing our holiday with the very loving and funny Chillie dog and Blanco the cat. They became our pets away from home. We will certainly be returning to recharge our batteries very soon".

Sindy (Little Baddow Essex)

"I needed a break from a very stressful job and family life and was fortunate to find Finca Colina on the internet, it was heaven sent and definitely the answer to my prayers.

The pictures don't do the scenery justice, although they are good pictures. If only the internet could reproduce the sights and smells, real country living. Waking up each morning to the fresh mountain air and scenery that was breath taking was the best start to my recovery. Yoga with Terry by the pool, an aromatherapy massage, a life coaching session with Christine as well as reflexology were vital ingredients to redressing the balance in my hectic life. The weather was wonderful which made sitting round the pool a pleasure, with an occasional dip to cool me off. Terry taught me some Spanish cookery with ingredients from their land - excellent. Both Terry and Christine are excellent cooks. The meals they prepared were of extremely high standard, absolutely delicious!

I read 7 books, got a great tan and came away feeling like a new woman.

I could not have found a better place and will definitely be going back, I just can't wait.

Thank you Terry and Christine I came as a stranger and left with two new friends, Ops sorry no, several new friends. Chilli (that beautiful black bundle of doggie fun) was an angel. He and Blanco (the cat) were my regular companions when I was lazing around and made me feel less lonely when away from my family.
God bless you all, and see you really soon I hope."
